About the Area

Ottery St. Mary is a town in the East Devon district of Devon, about 10 miles east of Exeter. The town takes its name from the River Otter on which it stands. The town comprises several independent shops. An area known as 'The Square', is the heart of the town where there are pubs, restaurants, coffee and tea rooms as well as the highly regarded Kings School.

Known locally as “Ottery”, Ottery St. Mary is surrounded by the beautiful Devon countryside. The River Otter offers beautiful walks from the town all the way to the coast at Budleigh Salterton.

Ottery St. Mary is a bustling little East Devon town. With vibrant Independent shops that also hosts a wide range of amenities and a range of excellent restaurants. The River Otter offers a beautiful walk right down to the estuary at Budleigh Salterton where you can then view England’s first Natural Heritage Site - the dramatic Jurassic Coast.


From the M5 junction 29 take the A30 towards Honiton, follow the road until the Daisymount Junction. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Old Exeter Road towards Ottery. At the next roundabout take the first exit B3174 towards Ottery, continue on this road into the town centre of Ottery. The entrance to the development will be seen on the left hand side of Feniton Park offices.
